Brisbane Registry Weddings Fully Booked 2026? Here's Another Option!
Were you hoping to get married at the Brisbane Registry Office before the end of 2026?
You might have discovered that the Brisbane Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages is now fully booked for the rest of 2026.
But don't worry, that doesn't mean you have to wait until 2027 to tie the knot!
I'm Karolina, an authorised marriage celebrant based in Brisbane, and I offer simple, affordable and relaxed Legals Only weddings for couples who just want to get married without all the fuss.
Looking for an alternative to the Brisbane Registry Office?
You don't have to get married at the Registry Office to make it official!
With a registered marriage celebrant, you can have a legally recognised wedding in a location of your choice.
Whether it's a lovely park, your own backyard, your favourite restaurant or somewhere special to you, there are plenty of options around Brisbane.
And it can be just the two of you, your two witnesses and me!
My Legals Only Wedding Package — $490
If you're after something simple and affordable, my Legals Only package could be perfect for you.
For $490, Monday to Friday, you'll receive:
A short and relaxed legal wedding ceremony (around 5 minutes).
All the required legal marriage wording.
Preparation and lodgement of your marriage paperwork.
A commemorative marriage certificate on the day.
A friendly celebrant who makes the whole process easy!
All you need is yourselves, two witnesses aged 18 or over who can understand English, and a location!
Want something a little more personal? I also offer a small ceremony for $850, including personal touches such as exchanging rings and saying your "I do's".
Can we still get married in Brisbane in 2026?
Absolutely! As long as you meet the legal requirements and we can find a date that works, we can make it happen! Whether that's before the end of 2026 or in early 2027!
BUT here's the important part! You need to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) with me at least one month before your wedding date.
The good news? We can organise this ASAP over a quick Zoom or video call!
For identification, I'll need to see your passport OR original birth certificate and photo ID, (no need for both) plus any relevant divorce documents if you've been married before.
Don't worry, I'll guide you through all the paperwork and make the whole process as easy and stress-free as possible!
Let's Get You Married!
If you've missed out on a Brisbane Registry wedding booking, I'd love to help you find another way to make it official.
No big wedding planning, no unnecessary fuss, just a relaxed and meaningful little ceremony that's all about you.
